Study Abroad

While at SF State, students can take advantage of a variety of CSU-wide and SF State-specific Study Abroad programs. Countries that currently offer courses that apply to the MEIS minor are GhanaTurkey and Israel. But that list changes from semester to semester, so please check in with an advisor.

Additionally, MEIS works individually with students to match them with existing language programs anywhere from Egypt to Lebanon and Morocco, either for a summer or for a semester or two. Again, students are encouraged to make an appointment with an MEIS advisor to explore these opportunities.

The listings below are meant to help students research available programs by country. The list is not exhaustive, but meant to get you started.

Please Note: Due to COVID-19 many of these study abroad opportunities are on hold.
